Designer Life Memories - Guarantee
Life's Memories memorial panels comply with AS/NZS 2208:1996 Grade A - safety glazing materials in buildings, and are manufactured under STANDARDSMARK - QAS licence number 0911.
"Life's Memories Pty Ltd" warrants that the glass outer layer of Life's Memories glass memorial panels will withstand normal weather conditions for a period of 50 years and further that the printed image of the laminated safety glass products are free from "unreasonable discolouration" or leaching of the image for a period of 7 years from the date of delivery.
"Unreasonable discolouration or leaching" is defined as:
"Using the test protocol ASTM G90 cycle 2 the image will meet the fade criteria of not losing more than 4.0 E for a 7 year period. This means that the variation in the image quality will not normally be visible to the naked eye."
These warranties become void if the laminated safety glass plaques are cleaned with materials other than those recommended by Life's Memories Pty Ltd. Should the plaque be damaged by any other accidental means, Life's Memories Pty Ltd will replace the glass memorial panel with the original images at 50% of the current supply price."
Guarantee Explanation
It is important to note that while the guarantee against discoloration of Life's Memories memorials is for a period of 7 years it means that at this time there is no discernable deterioration in colour to the naked eye.
Statistically it is projected that it will be at least 50 years before any deterioration in colour is even noticeable to the human eye.
On this basis it is interesting to note that a Life's Memories memorial will far and away out perform any exterior memorial lettering process for colour fastness and legibility over an extended period of time.
